ABOUT ORGANISATION DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE
Organisation Development (OD) Institute has its origins in the Organisation Capacity Improvement Consultants (OCIC) International, United Kingdom, a private Organisation Development (OD) company. The Institute was established after over a decade of institutional partnership as a business model between the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana and (OCIC) International, United Kingdom, in running Organisation Development (OD) Practitioner Training programmes at Postgraduate Diploma, Master’s and Doctorate degree levels between 2003 and 2014. The primary objective of the Institute is to build organisational leaders and change managers in Africa and beyond through practical teaching and data-driven research.
The OD Institute is accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) of Ghana and the International Society for Organisation Development and Change (ISODC), United States of America. It is affiliated to the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
The Institute currently runs Master of Arts (MA) Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Organisation Development. Other programmes to be mounted soon include MA Monitoring and Evaluation, MA Managerial Psychology, MA Human Resource Management and MA Development, Governance and Policy Studies.
The Governing Council is chaired by Prof. Albert A. Addo – Quaye and the President is Mr. Noble Kumawu supported by highly experienced staff in the management of the Institute.
