ABOUT INSTITUTE OF EXPORT & SHIPPING MANAGEMENT
The Institute of Export & Shipping Management was established by Felix K. Quarshie, a dutiful educationist with a great vision. The Institute started operation on January 10, 1993 with students from the African sub-region mostly Ghanaians, Togolese, Beninoise, Nigerians and Liberians at Accra Newtown. Four months later, a branch was established at Gomoa Buduburam Camp in the Central region to cater for the Liberian refugees by then, in order to give them a meaningful future. They were generally sponsored by philanthropists, churches and some by the United Nations (UNHCR).At present the headquarters has been moved from Bubiashie to Tetegu at South-West McCarthy Hill near Weija. We had branches at Kumasi, Ho, Tema and Takoradi. Unfortunately, all the branches has been closed down except Takoradi being manned by Mr. Peter Aziabu.
